On the comer of the brightest spot in the world- ground broke on November 16- 1964- for one of the most famous Glitter Gulch landmarks -- the Four Queens Hotel/Casino. The hotel was dedicated to owner/builder Ben Goffsteins four daughters- Faith- Hope- Benita and Michele. It began as a pint-size property with 120 rooms and a casino of 20-000 square feet.
